About myself	I have tried several of these sites and am trying this one... I would like to find a new friend and I hope that friendship would blossom into something more. I retired, lost my husband, returned to school to finish my degree, helped my son in his office and have "retired" again! I would like to travel -- but not on my own. I love to visit with family -- but they are far away. I read, sew, quilt, garden and play with the dog. I volunteer at one of the local elementary schools. I have looked after my terminally ill friend and my mother before she died. I am a "helper" as I have finally figured out. Now it is time to do something different.
